Pelvic Tilt

Lower-back release & core activation

Lower back core

How to

Lying on your back with knees bent and feet flat, flatten your lower back into the floor by gently tilting your pelvis and lightly engaging your abdominal muscles, then release.

Benefits

  • A foundational physical-therapy movement for low-back pain
  • Builds awareness and control of the lower back and core together
  • Gentle enough for daily use, even on flare-up days

Practice

10-15 slow repetitions, holding each tilt for 3-5 seconds before releasing.
