Wall Angel
Upper back & shoulder mobility
How to
Stand with your back, head, and arms against a wall, elbows bent at 90 degrees like a goalpost. Slowly slide your arms up the wall as far as they'll go while keeping contact, then slide back down.
Benefits
- Trains the upper back muscles that posture depends on, not just stretches them
- Highlights exactly where shoulder mobility is limited
- A favorite physical-therapy exercise for rounded shoulders
Practice
8-12 slow slides up and down, keeping your lower back flat against the wall throughout.
