Lion's Face
Full-face stretch, dynamic
How to
Open your mouth wide, stick your tongue out and down toward your chin, and open your eyes as wide as they'll go, as if roaring. Hold briefly, then relax completely.
Benefits
- Stretches nearly every part of the face at once — jaw, tongue, eyes, and forehead
- Adapted from Lion's Breath, a well-known yoga face gesture
- A satisfying release after holding smaller, isolated exercises
Practice
Hold 5-8 seconds, then release completely. Repeat 3-4 times.
